Postpartum Back & Hip Comfort: Gentle Chiropractic Support in Azle & Lake Worth

The weeks after birth are joyful and tough on the body. Between feeding, lifting a car seat, and trying to catch sleep where you can, it’s common to feel tightness through the lower back and hips. Small changes in how you move add up fast.

At Bronson Heritage Chiropractic, we keep postpartum care simple and gentle. Visits are calm, unhurried, and focused on helping your body feel balanced again, so daily life feels a little easier.

What “gentle” looks like here

No quick or forceful moves. Dr. Britton Bronson uses low-force adjustments and light soft-tissue work to support ease of movement. You can bring your baby; many parents do.

Why postpartum bodies feel different

  • Lots of time sitting for feeds

  • Carrying baby (and that stroller or car seat) on one side

  • Core and pelvic changes from pregnancy and birth

  • Less sleep and fewer chances to stretch

None of this means you’re doing anything “wrong.” It just means your routine asks a lot of you—and your body notices.

Simple ideas that help at home

  • Switch sides when carrying baby or the car seat.

  • Feed support: place a small pillow under the elbow that holds baby.

  • 90-second reset: stand, breathe slowly, and gently roll your shoulders.

  • Short walks: five to ten minutes count. Movement is your friend.

  • Keep screens up: avoid looking down at your phone while feeding.

How chiropractic fits with your village

We often work alongside pelvic floor therapy, lactation consultants, and your OB or midwife. Each supports a different part of recovery. Our role is to help your spine and joints move comfortably so everyday life feels better.

What to expect at your first visit

We’ll talk through your birth experience, daily routine, and what’s feeling tight or sore. Then Dr. Bronson will use gentle, precise adjustments to support natural movement. Most people describe the visit as relaxing.

If you’re in Azle, Lake Worth, Springtown, Weatherford, Aledo, Saginaw, or Eagle Mountain and want a calm, supportive place to land postpartum, we’d love to care for you.
